Galaxy S3 Mini Revealed

The Galaxy S3 has received all sorts of acclaim and has even had iPhone like waiting times and eagerness around its release. It’s now to get a little brother to share some of its pie.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is the new Android 4 inch version of the phone and comes with a dual core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a Super AMOLED display. There are a number of other great benefits including a 5mp camera, NFC and a 1500mAh battery for user’s pleasure. It will also come with Android 4.1 Jellybean from the box – a welcome addition.
The device may not have the gargantuan power of its big brother but it’s playing a different ball game and is somewhere along the same lines as the Galaxy Nexus in spec terms. The phone is smaller than the Nexus too, though has the now trademark curved edges of both phones – a move many people questioned when Samsung first released in in the Nexus range.
The device is of course smaller than the Samsung Galaxy S3 and at 111g is lighter too. It is however a little thicker than the premium range phone and is expected to come out for Christmas. Prices haven’t been released yet but it is thought to be around £250 when released placing it with the Nokia Lumia 710, Galaxy Ace 2 and HTC One V in terms of competition.
